Live event painting is a wonderful way to capture the atmosphere and memories of your special event, whether it be a Wedding Reception or Ceremony, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Sweet 16 Party, Family Reunion or any other special occasion!  Paintings are done on canvas with acrylic paint and are sure to become a cherished keepsake.  My style has the feel of folk art with a spontaneous and somewhat impressionistic look; yet I also try to accurately capture certain details of the venue and event.  I do well with architecture and outdoor landscape. Some faces may be left blank and some finished off more.  I will plan to arrive early and start working on an “underpainting” and then work live throughout the event, which is also great entertainment for your guests who will certainly be curious to watch the painting unfold on my easel!  Usually the painting will need to be completed at home using reference photos.  I can discuss my painting process more by phone if you are interested in knowing how much of the painting you can expect to see completed during the actual event.
